Just a brief update on Ko Tapu Dizzy - Epic Edition.
It is still in the works (:shez-surprise:) - and, I have literally just undertaken my first full(ish) play through (I didn't actually make it to the end because I seemingly picked up the wrong cat).

However...I found over 30 bugs and necessary enhancements, some of which are pretty major (some of which are not). Also - I need to add extra music and sound effects before I can show it to anyone.

My hope is to get it all done in time to release next year as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations..I suspect there will be a few projects in the works for 2027??

And now a request for help...
Is this the only Amstrad music that's avilable on Yolkfolk.com?
And if so - does anyone know where I can get the original Amstrad Music from all the other Dizzy Games...or even how you extract the music from Amstrad .dsk files?
Thanks! 👍

I'm afraid so, I didn't bother recording the rest of the Amstrad music because of how nearly identical they are to their Spectrum counterparts (apart from the pitch differences obviously).
I used Audacity to record any sound that comes from my laptop to record the music.

@Adam Amazing! I've just been looking stuff up about all this - and had literally just installed Audacity (which I had not heard of until about an hour ago) and begun saving WAV files from WinApe.

It'll maybe take a while, but I'll give it a go and getting us all the CPC versions (like you say - similar to the Speccy versions...and yet somehow far superior :shez-yes:)

@Adam - how did you find the loop point? just eyeballing it? Ta!

@OO7Samurai Ah, well Audacity is what I use to record.
But I used an audio editor called GoldWave to cut pieces out so it loops perfectly and save it as an OGG.

Thanks @Adam - I'll take a look at that then!
