"Dizzy and The Other Side"
by Alexandru Simion
Version 1.2
Made with DizzyAGE v2.2

The Story:

It's a sunny afternoon and Dizzy is enjoying himself in a chat
with Denzil. Suddenly, his perfect day turns for the worst...
Having no choice, our hero must embark himself on a new quest,
in search for the lost "Stone Of Balance". Will he succeed?
Will he find who is behind this unfortunate disappearance?
Well, it is up to you to find out.

About the game:

The first act of the game was released in 2006 for the
"Theo's Grotto Competition". Many things happened since then,
and now, almost two years later, the full adventure has been
completed! Play it now, to find the missing stone, to solve the
mistery, and to reveal the truth! Play it well, and you'll gain
a top position in the Hall Of Fame. You'll get the chance to
register your score on the official website, and tell the world
about it!

Special thanks to my wife, Cristina Simion,
and to the Yolkfolk Community.

Game requirements:

PC compatible system with 3D video board (GeForce2 or above).
Windows operating system and DirectX 9 or OpenGL installed.
For audio a sound card is required (DirectSound compatible).
For rumble effect use a gamepad or joystick with force feedback.

Gameplay:

Keys are Z/LEFT, X/RIGHT for movement, SPACE for jump,
ENTER for action and ESCAPE/Q for menu.
If present, a gamepad or a joystick can also be used.
You can mute the sound with F9,
toggle windowed/full screen mode with F10,
and show the game FPS with F11.
F1 will display the About box (windowed only).
Use PrintScreen or ctrl+PrintScreen to save a screenshot.

Online scores:

Finish the game and you'll get the chance to register your
score, online, in the scoreboards of the official game's website.

The game will open the scoreboard page in your default web
browser, to send your score id. Please allow your firewall to
accept this connection. If you don't have internet access, note
down your score id, and you can visit the game's website later,
to post it yourself.

You can also find your last score id, in the dizzy.ini file.

Troubleshooting:

By default, the game runs in 640x480 windowed mode (scale x2).
It should have sound enabled, keyboard and joystick support.
The game uses dizzy.ini for keeping it's settings.
You can adjust them from the provided setup, or even manually.

If you have troubles with your joystick or gamepad, try to
switch it to analog mode, calibrate it, or edit the dead zone
values in dizzy.ini with higher values.

If you experience troubles running the game,
try checking the log messages (enable them from setup),
visit the official web site for details, or contact the author.
