Hey guys. Long time. :)
Hope everyone is OK :)
I have a rant to make:
I think Dizzy 3.5 deserves some more love!
While it's a very small game, it's an official game none the less.
So I would like to suggest 2 changes:
1. In the Official games list, to place it between Dizzy 3 and Dizzy 4 (where I believe it should be)
2. I also believe it would be nice for it to have it's own forum dedicated section (like the other official games)
We have 9 adventure games, not just 8 ;)
Round up for opinions:
Hum... Just noticed... Wonderful Dizzy should also be after Crystal Kingdom...

Yeah I agree that 3 and a half needs more love, but having said that, it has been given a DizzyAGE remake - 2 versions with it included on the Magicland DizzyAGE remake, and most recently the Commodore Plus/4 port.
I'm not entirely sure its worth adding another forum here as there isn't really very much to discuss regarding it.
Besides, the forum index is long enough as it is. {eggs3}:haha:
But while on the subject of the game though, I do disagree with the level of hate Danny get's, even by the Olivers themselves.

I agree 3.5 does not have much to talk about in the forum... It was just to bring it in equal foot to the other games. But your probably right... :)

I do believe having a correct sequence of the core series would be nice :)
But, then again, it's just an opinion... Don't get mad at me. LOL

As for the Official game listings, again like the forum, its currently displayed in chronological order which is why 'Wonderful Dizzy' is in that position. :yes:
List starts with Adventure games, then Arcade games, then Demos & Mini-Games, and then Compilations.

About your post: yeah, when you put it that way it does make sense as it is!
I thought that it was ordered, first, by platform (since the core adventure series was mostly on the speccy) and only then on the rest of the themes.
I also didn't thought of mini games as a separated theme (I tend to think of the core series - on speccy - as nine games, where 3.5 is a "normal" very-very-small game, but still oficial)
But, then again, your idea is surely better! It does make sorting more easy :)

I could've sworn there were notes floating around the web somewhere where the Olivers kept character descriptions from a past project.
Yeah, sorry, I can't really prove it for now, but there has been mention that Danny's creation was nothing to do with the Olivers.

Turns out I was wrong about what was said about Danny.
It was Dizzy's Doppelganger from Prince of the Yolkfolk that the Oliver's disliked, not Danny. {eggs3}:stun:
