Thanks quiggie. Not sure how I missed that.

Darn, two coins short and I got all the ones mentioned in this thread. Well, off to aimlessly wander and see if I can find them. I'm not very hopeful.

Sn Trooper, even I'm not that cruel, apart from the 'little drawer' in the clock in the dungeon and ones mentioned by solving puzzles, you really can see 'bits' of all the other coins.

Done. Both of them were ones I know I had gotten before (in the clock and above the spectacles) but must not have saved it after getting them.

*Bug Report*
~Drawbridge switch doesn't move the first time you switch it. (frogandhat found this one.)
~If you go into moat before getting over the spikes you are permanently stuck. Perhaps add an item on the other side that you need before you can get to the moat?
~If you go into Jellyfish Bay without flippers you are permanently stuck.
~If you press up right at the start of the Laughing Gods maze you go up in to the wall and can bypass the whole puzzle.
~If you step on one of the switches (From the top left: three over and one down) coming from the right it changes the switch above it to look like it is activated and not the switch you just stepped on.
~If you jump from the Yolkfolk's tree house you can see the beanstalk before it is grown. But I think that was a bug in the original game.
~If you go down into the well maze without flippers you are permanently stuck.
~In the screen to the right of the red and violet switches: If you're in that screen in the mauve or yellow pipe then go back to it in the green pipe the place were yellow and mauve pipes interconnect is missing.
~In the screen to the left of the spectacles: If you're in that screen in the green pipe then use Grumpy's shortcut back there the green pipe blocks the way into maze.
~While climbing the beanstalk: the first cloud on the left is white but can't be jumped on and the next one is dark but can be jumped on. The opposite of every other cloud in the area.

Can't do anything with my new items or old items, tried them everywher(ish) wondering if maybe i should be carrying one of your famous combos? If anyone can give me a nudge i have:
Unused items: loud hailer, carpet, toffees, sectrum
Used items: pickaxe, broom, bone, saw, sword
And wandered in the waters with me scuba, apart from the specs can't do anything down the well.

Hey Gibbyboy have you been in the ghost rooms far left after knocking dozy into the water? flippers come when this section is solved, second pygmy after getting a clue from Grumpy!

I need to get past the rubble in the Church. The clue in the library says you need a loud hailer which i have got, but i can't get it to work in the Church. Any hints would be appreciated:

It should work by just having the hailer in your inventory. Make sure you have read the library book in the current game you are playing.

Thanks for reply Sn Trooper. I remember the words coming up ages ago when i first got into the Church, but now i can't seem to action them. I suppose i will have to start again as i have tried actioning the Loud Hailer from different parts of the Church & nothing is happening. Even tried moving the chair around

Hammermac, the action spot is between the book and rubble. As Sn Trooper says, you have to have the loudhailer in your inventory and read the book in the library in the current game.

NB, sorry about that but I tend to make 'finding clues' compulsory in each new restart - the player might know the 'clue' but Dizzy doesn't. :toothy:

Thank you Grandad, i kept going back to reading the clue, but actioned in another save. It didn't occur to me to read & action.
Another great game from you, please keep these brilliant games coming. {dizzy}

So, as per usual, I'm enjoying this recreation of a Dizzy classic. I'm running into some trouble, though.

I can't figure out how to get the door handle or the cake. I'd list my items, but I'm not sure how to make them blend into the page like everyone else is doing.

Both of those are gotten later in the game so you might not be to that point yet. To hide your typing change the "Text Color" to white Using this -> text

Sorry, but the only assistance I can give is that to hide text, you have to change the font colour to white. Above the typing area is a button marked A/ (meant to be a small down arrow) - press that to change colour, white is bottom right.
Now over to SnTrooper as he seems to know all the answers to all things Dizzy.... {dizzy}

EDIT: SnTrooper was replying above whilst I was typing this! {yolkfolk} {yolkfolk} {yolkfolk}

Thank you, both of you. Now I can be a lot more specific.

I have the Scuba, Magnifying Glass, Window Key, Broom, Spectrum, the Pickaxe, the Stale Bread, Bone, Loud Hailer and Sharp Sword. I don't think I have anything else lying around elsewhere.
Also, I found the glasses thanks to the shortcut in the maze, but I haven't found anything new with them. I'm trying to find the Cake for Dylan, which I can see but not reach, the wine for GranDizzy, and the pear for Grumpy, which I can also see but not reach.

I cannot enter the church or the building next to it. I'm quite stumped at the moment. If someone could nudge me in the right direction, I think I'd be alright.

My memory of this game has gone I am afraid, but you should be able to access the shortcut teleports which will make things easier. The clue to how to is to know that Grandad was a Commode Amiga user {yolkfolk}:raspy:

I've heard about the warp thing, but even with your clue, I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm guessing it means he doesn't like the Spectrum, but flushing it down the toilet or tossing it in lava wouldn't work. I'm really not familiar with these old computers.

Also, in addition to the items listed above, I also have the carpet, the woodsaw, and a pygmy cow. The first one, I'm told there's more than one. I'm pretty sure that's it this time.

OK, if you haven't done so already, you need to chop off the dragon's head with the sword then use the head and the stale loaf to make bridges across the spiked water bits outside the starting dungeon then get through the maze (the mark on the castle wall underneath where you found the scuba can be enlarged with the magnifying glass to see a safe passage - follow the green line). Use the glasses to jump on the bricks and get the second pygmy cow and the bag of toffees.

I have no problems with Spectrums, just thought it would be fun to wind up some of the 'devotees' on this site. Toss it into the lava pool and wait for Sir Alan Sugar to appear {yolkfolk}:raspy:
