Aaaah, spoke too soon, am now thinking of rude words to call Grandad.
I thought I was doing so well, I think I only have 2 people left that I know want something - the lumberjack, and the nun inside the nunnery (but I have given her 2 things already, 3 to go - suspect I need a rose as I already have access to something else, also suspect I need to get the kitten back, but the dog whistle doesn't appear to work at all?) and have spent the last hour walking around accomplishing nothing. I also have spiders and bees to sort out.

All that booze Annie, and you still don't need to go to the toilet! WOW!
Oh well, off down the pub, and try again tomorrow....

Oh I'm so nasty - one person gives each girl a different clue ...but only the first one to talk to them {yolkfolk}

OMG played this for a bit of light relief & i'm stuck already Grandad you (insert every profanity every known to man) think me & daisy will just spend the rest of eternity in the whisky bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anywhoo both of us have been round everywhere open so far with every item we have, got these:
stilton cheese, cat mint, pritstick, machete [used x1], lump of coal, bin lid, gold key, rancid butter, salted peanuts, small rock
& as for the safe puzzle - well i'm just going for another whisky before i try work that out again!!!!!!!!!

Quiggie - the small rock is used VERY close to where you found it, but in another screen. I have also managed to use three other items that you have, the bin lid, cat mint and gold key.
You spend a lot of time walking about in this game (or certainly I have!) but luckily shortcuts miraculously appear! But how the big girls manage to travel on small girl passports, I do not know, I think you need to have a word with Immigration, Grandad! :teethy:

Oh for fudge sake, i've actioned all over dallas with both girls with that item & NOTHING so i'm assuming you think i've got rid of the boulder stack - which i blooming well haven't - & its used near there??????????????????????

Quiggie - (I better call you this, if I call you Annie I will get confused with the game!) - the rock is indeed used in a screen very close to the rock fall - it would have been more of a clue if the rock was flat rather than round. I think from memory that this is the next thing you need to achieve, as you haven't got Dora yet!

OK, if Daisy has entered the game then you know you need to find 'someone' - ask around, the replies will be automatic and if they are also involved in another puzzle that will still be taken into consideration, especially if you want something stronger than a pickaxe to shift that rockpile.

The airports are automated so they only check the phone app for passport validity, not the size of the girls. I hope you appreciate that each big girl is a different height, shape and colouring.

I could have added shortcuts when leaving the Massive Dynamic laboratory, but as I spent so much time drawing the big girls crawling on all fours I thought I'd make everyone watch them.

No wonder i couldn't use the rock i had managed to use a vase in that place GRANDAD!!!! Anyway it hasn't helped as i'm right back where i started nobody wants anything from annie or daisy, this has got to be the earliest i've ever been stuck & frustratedly sweary in a Grandad game!!!!!!! As for the cat mint, bin lid & golden key i can't even find where to use them

Oh Annie - too much time in the whiskey bar methinks. Nothing wrong with using a vase to jump up to the locked chest in the mine.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh you ******* Grandad i'm at the art exhibition & there's no way i'm getting out of this place, i understand NOTHING in here & i've been here for 2 days on & off. Don't think i can get any further without solving this (which i'm never going to do alone) as i suspect you knew!!!!!!
Anyway can i do anything else with what i've got? which is:
stilton cheese, pritstick, lump of coal, vase x3, rancid butter, tin of tuna, coal sack, false beard, cold mittens & machete [used x2]
Know what to do with a couple of them but can't use yet.
Now taking a valum & off back to the whisky bar!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am around about the same place as you Quiggie - except I have solved the exhibition, and used one of the items that you have - well, I had to transform them first before the person would take them. Still looking for a rose though I reckon.... and to get that kitten back. {yolkfolk}:puzzled:
For the exhibition, I just solved it logically and using brute force - I checked how many paintings were in the correct position and then changed the first two, checked again, and kept moving the same one painting one position right until I got my first correct position. Then I had to check which of the two was in the correct position, then started again on the next painting. It took about 10 minutes to solve. If you want the solution, PM me but don't tell Grandad  .
I also have a couple of items that you haven't mentioned - dog whistle, can opener, golden cross (obviously) and salted peanuts , and can't think what to do next, so will carry on trying stuff until something works.
I thought this would be a nice simple game, but it seems that you sometimes need to be playing the correct character to progress, making it that much harder. But then, that is because Grandad is a $&*%£^& and a £%%&$£.

Oh, and Grandad, are you supposed to be able to pass through the spiders from the Amarog? I can't pass them from the RHS of the screen, but if I approach from the LHS from the Amarog, I can walk through them and then jump over the invisible barrier over the stone.

Entering the spiders from the left is a bugger. Originally I had the armorog as a kill object, but for some reason it played havoc with the inventory of the person when they respawned (giving them back the items for getting past the baddies), so switched it to a hurt object making it easier to get past by just taking a little health loss and totally forgetting you could then approach the little baddies from the opposite side. Apart from the snake (obvious use of the machete) the pygmy in the hut gives each girl a different clue to getting past the other 'baddies' - but only the first girl to ask.

The clue for the art gallery was the windows in the abbey but fiddling around with each picture works just as well especially as you haven't fully satisfied Sister Maria!

Er, you can walk left past the snowman and the girls can talk to each other and at certain places give a helping hand.

Yes, I have walked past there and not managed to get over the wooden steps (yet!)
And I have had the girls talk to each other, but all I have ever got is "Having fun?" or Annie telling me to swivel! Such a rude girl! Must be all the booze talking

For the spiders, you just need to make them killers / hurters and that would sort it I think. I don't remember the clue I was given to kill them, my point was that killing them happened automatically by magic because I had the right object, and with no message (which is unusual for you!)

EDIT: Now got onto the wooden steps, took a big leap from the top and got a couple of error messages when I crashed at the bottom

2nd EDIT - now completed! {yolkfolk}:yahoo: Did you do the end message just for me Grandad? "Tha'ts"?
Another excellent game, with some cunning puzzles, how you keep doing it, I do not know, but keep it up please! {yolkfolk}
As for the 'easter egg', well I think I know what one part is thanks to Quiggie

Well done u - would u believe i'm at a complete standstill again {yolkfolk} as usual been everywhere with everyone with everything, so i'm askin AGAIN for a little help
Thanks for the PM that helped me get further & do a few things but i've still got these
stilton cheese, art invitation [used], pritstick, vase, cold mittens, machete [used], lump of coal & golden cross
tried heating the mittens on boiler & timbuktu [can do absolutely nothing in here, action everywhere but nowt]
thanks in anticipation or not if you want me to suffer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#82969
Sounds like you are suffering enough Quiggie.
You have got the right idea with the mittens but you need to find a faster way to warm them up!. Because of where the item you need is, it may be that only one person can do it.
By the looks of what you have left, that will then give you your fifth item for the nuns which will then open up the last section of the game.
But how those Abbey windows are supposed to be a clue to anything, I cannot fathom!
