Knightmare Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Maybe a bit late, but I'm stuck on this. I've started the potion in the couldron and have added 2 ingredients but I need to add something hot?? Have 17 coins, so need 3 more there. Need to kill the spider (put it to sleep?) Dunno about the letters either - spell FIRE maybe? And about memento moori - Mortality or something similar - but what item encapsulates that? So many questions unanswered!! Gonna try giving the witch poision instead of brandy n see what happens, other than that I'm b*******d!! {yolkfolk}:tired:

If you've found the spider you should have found the 'memento mori'- think about bones and skeletons...

Hi guys... just discovered this one and I have to say, it's brilliant - blending two of my favourite Nineties geeky treats!

Anyway, this one's driving me crazy, don't know if anyone can help?? I'm still trying to crack:

a) something hot for the Happiness potion
b) the gargoyle (although I guess that's what the potion's for??)
c) freeing the princess
d) getting past Ariadne
e) getting past the troll guard (although as in most Dizzy games you don't need all 20 stars/coins/diamonds etc till right at the end, not sure whether to worry about this yet - I've got 18)
f) the 'memento mori' and whatever steps come after that

Just a subtle 'Treguard-style hint' which one to look at first would be appreciated... {yolkfolk}:rollseyes:

a) Something Hot for the Happiness Potion - Thats easy to answer but harder to get... Why not have a look in Merlins Store Room... A Chilli Experience?
b) The Gargoyle - You answered your own Question really!
c) Getting the Princess - SPELL CASTING... Oh! The Spell is in pieces! Maybe someone can put the letters back together?
d) Getting Past Ariadne - You need to make her Tired... So you need to find Merlin for help
e) Getting Past the Troll Guard - Yeah! I am stuck here too! I have 18 Coins and cannot find the last two.
f) The Memento Mori... The Memento Mori is the SECOND STEP... Think HEART AND SOUL... So the Heart is easy... But what may suggest Soul? Thats a bit of a skull buster for you... (BIG HINT!)
