Diamond Mine Dizzy (HELP THREAD)

Hmmm well I seem to be a little stuck at the moment.
I have a book of matches, some kindling, a sharp wood axe, a sturdy pickaxe (used once - didn't seem to help), dough, a rusty magnet, a soft feather, a golden harp, DIY bridge kit, umbrella (obvious use though lol)
I'm able to enter the mines, used the key given to me by grand dizzy, can't get the cart to move and tried every item I have on it.
Not able to get across the water, tried using everything here too.
Can't yet get to the green key in the castle because of the fire.
Can't reach the book, or yet to get the sword out of the wall.
Still need Dora's picnic basket, and the recorder for denzil so he can go on youtube lol.
I've tried using the pickaxe on every boulder in the mines and only demolished one like I said which didn't seem to help.
Currently on 24 diamonds but can't seem to progress further now =

In the 16bit game I can't seem to find the 3 in 1 oil, the small crate/box, and the sword for the king.
Any help would be very greatfull.

Hi Annie, yes i changed my name! {dizzy}:cool:
(btw it's the 'v2' mode, not 16bit mode!)
yeeessss i moved a few puzzles around in v2 mode. the oil is still got from the same person as before, although he now requires a different item.
the crate now has to be gained from a puzzle, it isn't just lying about anymore.
There are a few more puzzles to solve than in the 'classic' version, and it seems you've now got to that point!

I've looked everywhere for the Sword for The King but can't find it I've tried the broken sword but he didn't want that. I need the thing you get from him to get the next key box.

Sorry about the v2 mix up.
there are a couple of completely new puzzles in the game, and you've got to one of them.
did you notice how you can now get the sword out of the wall (even though it breaks), whereas you never could in the classic version?
maybe there's a reason for that.... :wink:

It won't be much of a holiday cause were decorating the bathroom.
So I've tried every sword to see if it comes off the wall, and I've tried to place the Broken Sword everywhere even the key machine and still can't find what the King wants.
Would love a really big easy clue Jamie {yolkfolk}:redfaced:
ok, the broken sword now comes out of the wall because it is needed for a new puzzle.
that puzzle is the sole reason part of the landscape in one of the rooms has been changed.
a script has also been changed providing a helpful hint.

Jamie I think I've found a bug.
When I go to The Flooded Shaft room to jump over to the other side I get this error message.

I have completed all the puzzle's in the v2 game, loved the "bag of cement & the sheeted metal" puzzle's {yolkfolk}:clap:
I just need to find 9 diamonds I know where 2 are but am having trouble getting them.

most of the diamonds are in the same place as they were, however some have been moved, mostly to make way for puzzles.
if i remember rightly, most of them didn't move far....
I've only got THREE DIAMONDS to find - i've howled at the moon with the air horn - no luck; still thinking of how to approach the lone diamond from the clues here and one other i've no idea where - any of them got anything to do with the harp or the empty pepper pot!!

you mean the moon is still there? :wink:
i also think that, as most people do to start with, you're approaching the 'lone diamond' puzzle from the wrong direction.
as for the third, ermmmm not sure. have you tried reading the post with the most hidden diamonds listed?
or try looking at the map that slider made. i think you can find it on Yolkfolk.com.
also ofc, it depends which version you're playing. if it's v2, then there have been a few moved.... :tongue:
Thanks jamie finally done after looking at the map the diamond i couldn't find was in the quicksand - did cheat [boo hoo] though by looking at the walkthrough to find out how to get to the moon! Off to try complete RRD now {dizzy}:huh:
