oops, who put that apple there.

playing to commodore version the other day as it was the only one i could get to work and had the infinite lives on... jumped off a tree after getting a spade and died by an apple.. but because i unlimited lives the bloody egg was brought back just before i hit the dam apple.. you can imagine what happened for the next 10 minutes... lol

wont make that mistake again.

best of it was i couldn't stop it/quiet.. i had to do a reset... oops.

Funnily enough, these apples only appear in 3 rooms.

Maybe the apple decided to swap the roles with Dizzy and ate him. :teethy:

Yet in later games Dizzy eats the apples for energy..

i did notice there weren't any Apple in fast food or Kwick Snax, he must have overcome his fear..
And there weren't poisoned apples.. i don't think you can grow pre-poisoned apples. {yolkfolk}:ill:

I remember seeing Apples on Kwik Snax, and there is a poisoned Apple on Magicland which is needed to saving Dylan.

The Apples on Dizzy TUCA might have been poisoned, and I know Dizzy craves Apples so he got the habit of eating it when he touched it and it costed him a life.
Similar to when Dizzy got drunk from deciding to drink Whisky on Fantasy World before dropping it, except that didn't cost him a life, just kept him rolling along a bit lol.

This exact same thing happened to me too! There's bound to be a few bugs in the first releases, especially the FIRST GAME in the series. But yeah, I did that. Luckily it was many moons ago, one of the first times that I played it. I never forgot it so made sure not to do it again!
