I am in the hottest place in England, and our temperature was 31 degrees, and that was more than hot enough! Thankfully, I work in an air conditioned office, and had that on all day and still sat in front of a fan as well! {yolkfolk}:delight:

Lots of snow here & very cold. Its this global warming. If this continues and starts repeating more frequently they are going to have to tax us for global cooling instead.
Don't know much about global warming. Is part of it anything to do with the northern ice cap melting and diluting the Gulf Stream making it colder with the consequence of drawing the jet stream more southerly or is that just coincidence?
Grandad, would seem to be the case yes, certainly it has come more southwards affecting us. Hope it isn't to become more the norm otherwise the weather is going to be really bad all the time.
Winters are still warmer/better than they were 40/50 years ago. So I don't buy that argument.
Global warming and Climate change are two different things. Climates have been changing for naturally for millions of years not a lot we can do about it.
Last winter we only had one week with snow on the ground.
Last October was cold, the year before was a heat wave.. point is there is no patten it's so random you never know what it's going to be like. Last year was also a wash out.. but prior to that we had been in a drought.
Things just have a way of balancing out, life is unpredictable.

Dunno about you lot, but I can see bikini clad women from the office window...temperatures are soaring in Norfolk!!
It's not too bad here in Suffolk either, although it's always a bit chilli on the coast.
