And so, Giddy returned to his cosy normal abode - everything back to normal...or so he thought!
Giddy put up his aching and somewhat smelly feet and turned on the TV...Coincidentally at that very moment, a newspaper appeared.
"We interrupt this programme to bring you a special news bulletin."
It said, in a suitably cliched way.
Apparently, a huge spacecraft had appeared over Cutesville and was sending out "Wibble-waves", causing normal everyday objects to go all freaky!
First eyewitness reports described a huge floating 1940's radio with the strange words "Fractal Engine" on the side.
"So that's what caused the weirdness before!" Said Giddy in a tenuous link to the prequel...
As the bulletin continued, it explained that one of the few things that seemed unaffected by the Wibble-waves were heroic eggs with big hands.
"Blimey! That's convenient." Though Giddy as he snuggled into his chair.
Suddenly, the TV mutated into a jar of pickled gherkins - there was only one thing to do...
So grabbing a gherkin sarnie and his best hat, Giddy set off to defeat the alien machine and save the world...or Cutesville at least!
