NEW EVENT: International Dizzy Day at the National Videogame Arcade

Postby Adz.M » Wed Mar 22, 2017 6:24 pm

A new 'old' Dizzy adventure and a new exhibition announced!

Easter has come early as we're excited to announce that another special event is happening at the National Videogame Arcade in Nottingham (UK).

The NVA are helping out the Oliver Twins with Dizzy's 30th Anniversary by hatching plans for a special new exhibition and series of events to celebrate the milestone.

The event will take place at the NVA at Nottingham on Saturday 8th April 2017 ~ 10am - 6pm (GMT)

If you are interested in attending the event, you can book your tickets at the NVA's website here.

At this time, it is currently not known if we at The Dizzy Fansite will be able to attend the event.
But we will certainly be looking forward to seeing what the day will deliver.

More details may come closer to the time.

Well today's the big day - HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DIZZY DAY! :v2_dizzy_yahoo: :v2_dizzy_yahoo:

For those of you unable to attend the special event at Nottingham today, there will be a few live streams throughout the day on Facebook via Yolkfolk's page and/or The Oliver Twins page - so keep a close eye on them both.

I don't think you need to sign up to Facebook to watch the live streams.

According to Philip Oliver, the main presentation is said to begin at 2:30pm GMT.

These new/old NES Ports remakes remind me of the Pc/Dos versions that came out around the same time.
Mysterious Realm Dizzy...oops i mean Mysterious World Dizzy ;) looks good fun. I'm not really a fan of theses NES style/ports but it's nice to see another loose end tied.
