Confession time, I decided I'd 'go back to' GID after a quick play one day but never got round to it... Well now I'm finally catching up on this wonderfully animated and illustrated game, and in typical fashion I'm already dead stuck after not too long. I've had a quick flick through the helpthread ...

Great stuff!! Sounds epic - I loved TTD, even though it took me months of gradual persistence and revisitation to complete, the look and vibe was too much to resist... :v2_dizzy_smile:

I'm in love with the art design and animation in this, it's sheer mouthwatering genius discovering each new area - the game just looks so 'alive'. :v2_dizzy_clapping: (One small thing though - if you click on the left-hand palm tree in the snake screen before said ophidian nasty has appeared, you st...

ah you'll have to think out of the box for this kind of fruit its not one of the most obvious ones - maybe thinking of horses could help find this fruit!!!!! Of course... :v2_dizzy_happy: Great game grandad, loved all the little idiosyncracies and the way that when you just thought you were getting...

Thanks for that hint everyone, was a massive help and I've been glued to the PC for the last four hours solid :embarassed: progressing further. I'm now stuck at that last 'spring-loaded' hurdle though, and am wondering if I have tripped myself up through object use? The only fruits I can get at this...

The three trials!

I'm being a total thicko here, I understand the concept of each trial having a number of candles that corresponds to the advice given by the monks, and I remember what they all said. But I'm having no luck with 'overcoming death' - so do I need to 'solve' something in the 'trial 1' room first :v2_di...

Think i mustn't be far behind you... stumped on the second trial, and have you managed to entice the rat? It seems you have to do three things, I've only managed the first two though! Thought logically the fan might come in handy, but alas to no avail... hope he doesn't prefer eggs!

Well, well, well, this one certainly sneaked up on us!! What a great game thus far - lovely and inventive animations, quirky (and ever so slightly suggestive :v2_dizzy_blush :) situations and character interactions, and a totally idiosyncratic landscape. Very well imagined and realised all round. I'...
