Thinking a bit on how to go at it on the yolk folk home...

:v2_dizzy_confused2: There are many versions of the yolk folk home. I was thinking of making my own layout version, but I wonder if I should go for one of the existing versions. I would like to get some feedback on this so I can get right on it. The "Down the Rapids" main map layout will be done soo...

Video of what it looks like so far...

Well, here's what it looks like in game mode so far. Still a whole lot to do here. I was thinking about trying to get the Dock St. and Castle St. entries in (no guarantee that I can do this though).

Current stats...

Well, I'm almost halfway done with the main area of the map. Here's two pics to compare between the NES and what I'm working on in the editor, DromEd. http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a110/xGORTx/nesredrapid_zpsfa3ca5cb.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a110/xGORTx/dump002_zps808ca0bc.png It's ...

Progress is kinda slow at the moment (I'm trying to get a Graphic Design position at my workplace). Also, I'm trying to gather maps of areas, but I can't seem to find the rapids map for Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy (NES). So here's the question for that mission. Should I still try to make the map j...

Down the Rapids in the works...

OK, I am now working on one of the missions. It's "Down The Rapids". Here's a video of what I've got so far. As you can see, there's quite a lot to be done here. I may make the terrain textures more Dizzy like. Right now, ...

Question that needs resolving...

OK, I have one more question here. So, I've kinda brainstormed a storyline for this. I just want to know. Should I use the existing areas that are on the Fantastic Dizzy map, or should I just make a whole new area for Dizzy's adventure? :v2_dizzy_confused2:

So far, its just me. It's going to take a great deal of time, but I think I can do it. I like making these models. It's like having fun with legos in a more advance way. Kinda brings the kid out of me. :v2_dizzy_tongue: I also usually make my own mission layouts and my own textures for the terrain o...

What I've got so far...

Things are a bit busy for me at the moment, but I am working at it. Here's a test model of Dizzy. The question I have here is whether or not I should have his arms and legs. :v2_dizzy_tongue:
