Passwords for Remake

Hi guys, I've been playing the remake version of Crystal Kingdom Dizzy through the yolkfolk.com and was wondering if anyone has a list of passwords for the various levels. So far, I have the following - Level 2 / Pirate Ship - D9A8B4354F6E (two lives) Level 3 / Desert Island - D8AAE7658277 (two live...

The Horsehoe Magnet is required (at least on the original Speccy version) to lift the gates/barriers in the Crazy Labyrinth. If, however, you follow the route mentioned in other threads and avoid the Laybyrinth completely then the Magnet is irrelevant. It's not the "intended" way of finishing the ga...

I actually quite like the fact that Dizzy only has 1 life in Treasure Island. Let's face it, the game is much smaller than the original Dizzy, and other than the 1 life issue it's hardly a complicated, tricky, or taxing game. Yes, you need quite a few goes to complete it but if there was more than 1...

Secret Places

Way way back when I was first playing Dizzy on the Spectrum in '88 or so there were a few things that struck me. When you go down the mine, and take a right above the haunted chimney you have the screen with the miner's hard hat and the spider. Beside the hard hat is a lump of rock, above the lump o...

There where quite a few red herrings in the original Dizzy games if I remember rightly. Magicland immediately springs to mind with having had a BAG OF RUBBISH and an EMPTY MILKBOTTLE outside the Castle's back door. Fantasy World had the HOLE and the WHISKEY BOTTLE. Yolkfolk had that damn MAGIC CARPE...

Ok, the HORSESHOE MAGNET does have a purpose, though only in a roundabout way. The "correct" way to complete the game is to use the DRY ICE to freeze the waterfall in the mushroom caves and enter the crazy labyrinth. You need to use the magnet to lift the gates to get, if I remember correctly, the J...

I'm pretty certain it wasn't possible to get to #3 on the original speccy version. I mean, obviously I could see the opening but could find no way of getting there from above. For the record, down the mine, somewhere near where you get the can of 3 in 1 oil there's a "hidden passageway" with if I re...

Maybe I'm just stupid but I tried uninstalling ZX32 and re-installing it and there's no difference. I've also tried downloading X128, AND managed to get a game to load, which is great, but there's this sort of "throbbing machine gun sound" and the only way to stop it seems to be to turn off ALL the ...

Hi Adz, thanks for the advice. I've given it a shot but sadly it doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever. :O

Maybe I'm better off with switching to a different emulator. Can anybody recommend another good one that you can load/ save in a split second with 1 click of the mouse?

Emulator Running Too Fast

Hi guys, I've had the ZX32 simulator for a while but changed to a newer PC over a year ago and recently tried using the emulator for the 1st time since. It still works, but it's lightening fast. This is a blessing in some football games where you'd normally have to sit for ages while it calculates s...
