The NES version of this game is pretty decent

I just finished the NES version of this game and it's actually pretty good. In most respects identical to the Spectrum version other than different graphics and sound. And a few gameplay differences which made it interesting to play even though I finished the Spectrum version a few days ago. And I m...

Forget it, I figured it out. Well, I didn't really figure it out but I didn't realize you could reconfigure the keys if you selected to use the keyboard

So it's not an issue anymore, delete the thread if you feel like it :v2_dizzy_happy:

How to browse the inventory using kempston (emulation)?

I'm having a strange problem with this game. I'm using the Spectaculator emulator and the "use arrow keys and tab as kempston joystick" option. Now, this has worked perfectly in all the previous games but in this game, I cannot browse the inventory properly. What happens is that I can open the inven...

Just finished it, some thoughts..

Well, I just finished this game. This is the first time I've had to use hints for the main game (I've had to use hints for a few coins in Dizzy 2&3). And the reason is those dumb hidden rooms - if you put crucial items in hidden rooms, a least give some hints! Semi-transparent wall perhaps.. well, *...

I think this is pretty dumb. Hiding essential stuff in a game in secret places like these without any clues.. how are you supposed to know you have to jump through a wall? I didn't like it with the coins either but this is just silly.

I hope the remaining Dizzy games don't have stuff like that.

How to jump using flippers?

I'm stuck at the part where I need to jump over that pipe to get the object on the other side. I actually had to look at a hint because there was no way I was getting over.. but the hint just said that I should jump over using the flippers. Well, I've managed to do some very high jump twice but in t...

I just started playing this game (just started playing Dizzy for the first time ever about a week ago) and I fully agree. This is my least favourite Dizzy game so far because of that. I haven't played it much yet though, only gotten past the cart ride so far. Another thing I don't like about Dizzy g...

Cool, thank you.. so they might show up on this site later on? In that case, I'll probably wait for that.

Any good places to find Dizzy box art?

I've been looking for good resolution scans of the various Dizzy boxes.. I hope it's not against the rules to ask for scans of those (*not* asking for roms or anything!). I've found a few for some Amiga versions but not a lot. So do any of you know of anyplace to find good quality scans of the boxes...

Hah, finished Dizzy 3 already. Awesome game! Best game in the series so far. Cool meeting some other eggfolk or whatever you call them :D It was a little easier than the two previous ones though.. perhaps because the puzzles were more logical? I don't know, I had much more trouble with Dizzy 2 in an...
