Default Fantastic Dizzy on the Spectrum??

i would just like to start of by saying, how much i enjoy playing all the fan made Dizzy games. My fave have to be Winter world Dizzy and Volcano ilsand Dizzy. ive have played the fanmade remakes of Dizzy but i was just wondering why no one has tried to remake Fantastic Dizzy but with Spectrum style graphics. If only i knew how to make the Dizzy games with Dizzyage, i would give it a go, so i was just hoping that one you guy and gals out there could pleassse make it, that would be so amazing.. can you imagine Fantastic dizzy on the Spectrum now that would be fantastic

Peter Teal is the chap behind all the remakes on DizzyAGE. But he already has a too much on his plate at the moment, along with a remake of Spellbound Dizzy on the way which maybe released by the end of this year.

But really, I've no idea if anybody is up for the challenge of doing Fantastic Dizzy in a Spectrum style, possibly not for a while yet.

i still really hope someone will make remake fantastic dizzy, as i think that on the 8bit computers is where Dizzy really belonged. i still really enjoy the megadrive and nes versions of Fantastic dizzy but i think that graphics and music really suited the 8bit computers the best. i guess i will just have pray that someone along the line will make it.
ive been really impressed by the quality of all the fan made games, i think they have all captured the spirit of what dizzy was all about. just wanted to thank everyone for all there hard work

i think i remember that game. personally i don't own it, or have an emulator, and as i don't know the puzzles at all, i don't think i'll be doing it tbh. especially as i plan on having a bit of a break after finishing IID!

You're actually part of the way there though Jamie. It has a few mini games, one of which is Bubble Dizzy.

Don't think I've really played it,
i just ran around and gave up once i found the graveyard.. with no idea how i got there or what i want meant to be doing.. From that small experience i thought it was a horrible game and didn't really work.

it was ok if you accepted that it wasn't the same as on the speccy. it was quite a big game actually. altho if you'd played Dizzy 2, 3, 4, and 6, you won't have had many probs with the puzzles, as most of them were re-hashes.

it was certainly a lot better than Crystal Kingdom Dizzy (dizzy 7) on the speccy. god that game was horrible.

It was easy but i quite enjoyed it.. its underrated.

I second what Meph has said really, I enjoyed the C64 version too, and if it gets remade as a regular Dizzy style DizzyAGE remake, then I'd deffo play it. But hey, everyone has an opinion

As for Fantastic Dizzy, I own the Sega MegaDrive version and I admit that it was rather confusing where to go when you first play it.
Eventually, I got the hang of where everything is in the game, took me longer to master the sub games and Zaks' Tower.

Of course, now I can tackle the game with ease, but what's still frustrating is that I always lose chunks of energy dodging rats in the tunnels of Keldor.
