Uploaded TOS v1.2
Nothing important - the tos.zip works as before.
The new setup.exe allows integration with external installer.
You can find a zip with such an installer, for the cd version, on the download cover page.
And another inside print, for the cd case
I printed and made a few nice cd cases of the game. Here is a sample:

Hey Alex,
I loves the TOS, as I mentioned on an earlier forum - (cant remember which one tho) This has to be the best Dizzy fan game of all time - WOW.
Im proud to say that Im still on the leaderboad - albeit after loads of reloads.
Anyway - the TOS CD looks sooo cool - Love the artwork, is it possible to get hold of an autographed cd in case somehow?
Good luck with the development - I cant wait to see what youre next project is going to be.....![]()
Long Live Dizzy - May his boxing gloves never shrink in the wash
It would be difficult, because my costs to safely send a proper package to UK were quite high last time I checked. I had to send the t-shirt prize of the first DizzyAGE competition as a normal letter. Strange, but the costs to send from UK to Romania were much lower.
What an absolutely eggsellent game! I just posted my highscore, I'm 19th ... yippie! ;-)
I mapped it while I was playing it. Am I allowed to post the map here? (via a photobucket account) Or would that be too much of a spoiler? ;-)
BTW
[strike]Does the [img] tag work in this forum?[/strike] Duh, I just noticed post no. 32 ;-)

i'm sure no-one would mind if you posted the map here. if you can! (it will be a hugeee file), alternatively, host it elsewhere and link to it here.
btw, if you download the source code for the game, the map file is contained in that....![]()
"Dizzy and The Other Side" finally made it in the review list of GameTunnel.

Not the top score - looks like they were put away by the "too retro" style.
And they got the author wrong - credited the Olivers as authors, but I emailed them so I hope they change it.
But I'm glad it was reviewed there. It's a popular indie games website.
Alex
I checked out that link - its good that TOS is getting some of the recognition that this excellent game deserves.
There were some very positive comments there about the gameplay especially.
Im a bit surprised that maybe some reviewers didnt appreciate that the graphics and controls were actually designed to feel like a spectrum game.
Maybe if they were purely a dedicated retro site they'd be more favourable - but its great news that a nonretro site even wanted to pick this up - it certainly opens up Dizzy to a wider audience.
Well done Alex!!
