Good Lord, that game was absolutely FANTASTIC!
Good Lord, that game was absolutely FANTASTIC!
Well, I see we finally have a top winner!
Check the top scores:

I assume Piktor and Poggie are the same skilled person (considering the 2 minutes difference in their playtime), who managed to find all the diamonds! Even the most secret ones... Congratulations! I don't know if he's from around Yolkfolk forums, but if he is, I'd like to here if if found it hard to find them all.
Well, there is more room at the top because, even if he managed to keep all his 3 lives, he had to load 62 times. That would not be working for a classic Z80 Dizzy game, would it? So, come and do better!
Indeed, I'll have to fix that with a blocker, if you managed to get there![]()
Well,
We have one player (PirateRus, same as Proclus) who managed to get all the diamonds without loading at all! That's a real Dizzy player, if he is for real...
By the way, the "hacked" version of TOS appeared on some russian forum, giving puppies infinite lives. Of course, real players would not use such a cheat... The good thing is the version is a little adjustment of the free sources I provided on the website. And these sources does not include score ID generation. So, in case they don't know, puppies will not be able to post in the top scores list
Not that the game is safe against a real attack... but that would only prove evil hacking skills good for green slimes only.
Well... the weekend is here, so let's see who else manages to get to the bottom of the mystery.
Yep... quite insane. And since both of his two score entries are 0 loads, he must've played it all from the beginning again. SLIDER also managed to finished it in less than two hours. It would be cool to see a video recording of such play.
It has to be said, that was one hell of a game. All the fan games are good and the time and effort put into them goes without saying, but the effects with animation, colour, music and just all round detail here were amazing.
Everyone's creative ability to continuously be doing new things with the "old" format brings the playability bang up to date - and thanks to them Dizzy definitely has a well deserved place in 21st century gaming!![]()
Anyone else here managed to finish the game?
I have uploaded a new version, v1.1.
It only fixes a few spelling mistakes and the place where you could get stuck, in the old well - thanks Jamie.
If you're in the middle of the game now, you don't really need to download this new version, considering that previous saved games are no longer loaded in this one.
