I recently created a Tool-Assisted Speedrun of the NES game Dizzy the Adventurer.
For those unfamiliar with the term, a Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) is an emulator made movie using slowdown and save-states to play the game as fast as possible. Unlike a regular speedrun where playing skill is key, a TAS involves analysis of the game and a lot of brute force to determine the fastest possible strategy.
You can view the movie on YouTube curtesy of speedruns.net
Or, download a high quality video and read an in depth commentary at the mother of all TAS sites, tasvideos.org
Figured someone here would enjoy this!
