Ok, I may or may not have stumbled on something here...
    1. I used the cheat mode, and found that in this version, the misspelling of the "infa red detonator" was corrected to "infra red detonator." Why fix an item you can't even get to or use?
    2. Moving on from this, the write-up says you must dispose of it. At first, I tried dumping it in the ocean, but it didn't work. Then I thought of something... maybe you can use the detonator...
    3. So I used the cheat mode to pick up the dynamite, detonator, and treasure, and brought it to the mine. I put the dynamite down, then the treasure on top, and stood behind the rock and used the detonator. And the strangest thing happened...
    4. The treasure blew up into a... glitched Crash logo, that I couldn't go past. Very strange...
    5. So now I'm going to fool around a bit and try to figure this out...

I fiddled around some more, and found it has nothing to do with the treasure. The dynamite alone is what caused the glitch.

Without the cheat mode the detonator is not accessable so it won't be that. I have tried dropping the treasure everywhere, too no avail.

Do you think the toothpaste could be used for anything? I know it was a red herring in the regular game, but what about here?

Pretty cool that the codies did that, really... I never knew about these 'bonus' games. I knew about Dizzy 3.5 though.

Has anyone ever got higher than 25,000? That seems to be the most that you can get.

I've had another go and got it to 26,000.
