EDIT: i've just played it for a minute on my speccy emulator before remembering that it's a pile of shit.

I don't consider it to be a 'true' dizzy game because its been badly done and just isn't nice to play.

Yes, it scrolled for most part, but how did you play it on a speccy emulator, I don't even think there was Spectrum release for this game? I quite liked it, much more than Crystal Kingdom Dizzy, but I played the Amiga port, which had the best graphics&music and the smoothest scrolling. I tried the NES and DOS versions, but those sucked.

Can anyone get the game paused Menu to come up during gameplay on the latest version? I've pressed Q and Esc and it doesn't work, but it comes up on the title screen. and no It's not my keyboard!

fixed! v1.21 heading on it's way to the Yolkfolk and DizzyAGE sites.

it turns out that the in-game menu function is called something different in DizzyAGE v2.2

i mustn't have realised that, so it was still calling the old menu function, which doesn't exist anymore...
