The correct answer if Amstrad cpc. Because it has music. Well ingame music rather than small jingles.

I played the game on my Amstrad. Also completed it on a speccy emulator. I prefered the CPC 464 version. If I remember correctly it more colourful graphics and better sound?

Commodore 64. Great title tune and nice border graphics, although the port does slow down the game a weeeee bit.

With the earlier games, I generally preferred the Commodore versions.
Purely for graphical reasons though, never liked the colour transparency that Dizzy suffered in his Spectrum versions.

Also didn't like the green coloured look for Dizzy in the Amstrad versions, definitely prefer him as a white egg.

Having only really played the Amstrad version I'm gonna have to say it gets my vote.

Recently I played Peters remake which I think was the spectrum version(could be wrong on that though) It was pretty close to the game I remembered from the good old days but Diz had the red gloves and boots on the Amstrad which tips the scales in it's favour just on appearances.

I know it's not on the list, but I would have to say the new DizzyAGE remake. Partly because it's the only version I've really played, but also because the different options that make it possible to customise the game to your own preferences are a really nice touch.

first message from me, just joined. until i saw the new remake i would have said the speccy version was best but as andyc says the extra options make the dizzyage one better. still miss the colour clash though. just had both running side by side & thats seems to be the only visual difference. great job by peter teal
