Default Daisy and the Haunted Mansion v1.01 [DOWNLOADABLE]

    Famous last words from Saleh:

One last thing....DizzyFan, I think me and Grandad are on the same level for rudeness, afterall, he did tutor me!!!!
But not any more. The stakes get higher with the forthcoming release of 'Daisy and the Haunted Mansion', a game that takes bad taste to a new level. However, these are mostly incidental to the main storyline which is Daisy finding out why a whole family died on the same night some years ago and strange events happening on the estate since they died, so it's really more of a mystery rather than a straightforward adventure, but there are still lots of puzzles to solve and there are three different end sequences, two of which are fatal to Daisy.

I'll send it to AdaM and Simon over the weekend, so hopefully it will be released just after the competition has ended.

Default Daisy and the Haunted Mansion v1.0 [DOWNLOADABLE]

    By Steve Rennie (Grandad)

    - Yolkfolk.com (v1.01)
    - DizzyAGE (v1.0)

    - Help thread

    Story:
Daisy has had a makeover and is now going to investigate a haunted mansion.

    Notes:
As is usual in Steve's games, Daisy can carry up to four items.

This game is NOT suitable for children; not just because some of the content is in questionable taste, but some puzzles require adult knowledge.

Hint: save often as death can sneak up on the unwary player.

Just started playing this at long last, another cracker Grandad! Not looked at the help thread yet, so forgive me if this is already mentioned in there, but I keep getting stuck in the top of the screen on the last screen of Paul's maze, when I climb up the Ram's skulls. Not managed to get out of there yet, but will keep trying / climbing / getting stuck! Aaah just thought, maybe I am using them on the wrong screen.....

You do use them to get out of Paul's area by the same door you came in. Just position them so that the top skull is under the door flap then jump on and press action to leave.

Yes, thanks, thats where I suddenly thought to try them at the end of sending the above. Originally, I had climbed on top of the buttons in the last screen thinking that they must be the first platform to get out of the secret passage at the top of the screen, but all that ever happened was I would jump onto the last skull and get stuck on the roof.
I did manage to (unsuccessfully) complete the game yesterday, but got killed allowing the killers to go on and kill more, as it told me that I hadnt reversed the spell at the undertakers. So I went back to my last save (which was taken just before the end) and went there but could find nothing to do there, so went back to my save before but that was taken before the slidey puzzle and I HATE slidey puzzles, I have never been any good at them, how I completed it the first time I dont know, more luck than judgement I think! So I gave up trying again and watched MOTD2 instead

Slidey puzzles are right b******s aren't they, that's why the 'map' above the last door in Paul's area is actually the way to solve it. ie, Right, Left, Up, Down etc as there's always only one empty space to move to and you move the relevant tile in the indicated direction into the space.

Reversing the spell is part of the activation process. If you dip the spell in the yellow tub first, you get the message about reversing the 'dipping' process and making it a 'good' spell and then when you activate it, Brenda and Nobby get killed.

I don't intend to do either a 'slidey' puzzle or a 'block pushing' puzzle (in the cave) again as they were just exercises to see if I could actually make them work.
