These days, many Dizzy fans use the DizzyAGE engine.

If you ever need any help with it, you can always post in the DizzyAGE Help forum and there are also tutorials online.![]()
There is a DizzyAGE 'book' online to help you. I've also done 8 video tutorials, as well as a 'Make your own Dizzy Game' tutorial walk-through, both of which can be found on my website.
If there's anything you get really stuck on, just ask in the DizzyAGE help forum on here, and someone will most likely help you fairly quickly.
Hey Kevin,
From my experience (very limited it was a year ago!!!, in fact, I had less than no coding skills!!!)
I have managed to create my own Dizzy game, namely Yolkfolk prophecies, from using the DizzyAge engine and the use of Jamies (Delta's) tutorials on Youtube and the online books provided by the author of DizzyAge (Alex). In addition to this, I also had access to a wealth of knowledge in the forums and helping hands of a lot of the members.
I must say, it is an amazing feeling once you have managed to get your game out there so I would strongly reccomend doing it!!!!
It is a long learning process but a hobby well worth doing....oh yeah and there is a lot of this![]()
Do unto others as you would have them do!!!
The basic things you need to add when building an own dizzy game:
Planning & Design
