    Default Completed!

    Well i did it!
in fact the first time i got close i was missing one cherry, lol
but i found it hidden on the cloud beneath heavens gates.

The real problem was the boatmen wouldn't always take the gold nugget and kept killing you off.. so after ten minutes of trying to get him to take the bloody thing i managed to complete the rest in 20 minutes (overall)
anyone had trouble getting him to take the nugget.

Getting used to dealing with clouds, been so long since i played the games i forget how to do them, getting better on those jumps to (boat)

What is the difference between the Yolkfolk version to the Adventurer version? other then the title?

I've never had trouble giving the nugget to the ferryman, you just have to walk into him to get him to take it.

The difference between PotYF and DtA is that DtA has the Yolkfolk on it and some of the puzzles are changed slightly.

    Congratulations!!!

Having played DTA and POYTF I can confirm the games are similar with a few minor changes. For example...

    1. No evil Dizzy. He's been replaced with a troll.

    2. You can use the magic carpet.

There was a map of Dizzy the Adventurer made long ago, I'm not sure if Nitro still has it

I've got the map somewhere. I'll have a look for it this evening and post it here

I had a go at Dizzy The Adventurer and while it seems alot easier it i think its alittle better.. mainly because of the other characters involved.. feels more like a dizzy game.. (i know they weren't original but to me they added to the games quality)

Yeah its smilier but theres enough difference to give it a once over..lol

    unlikely.

Surely, if you have the nugget he takes it, if not he kicks you into the water.

I never gave the NES version much time, but I shall download the ROM and play it today and let you know what I think of it right here.

I've just beaten Dizzy the Adventurer for the first time! I beat Prince of the Yolkfolk ages ago, but there were just enough differences in this one to make me think a bit.

    I'm rather pleased about that.
