    Default Harrier Attack (Amstrad CPC)

Did anybody ever play Harrier Attack?

We bought this game in 1984. If you've read my profile, you'll know that aviation is an interest of mine and, because of that, a game like this was bound to come to my attention. The British Aerospace Sea Harrier was a fascinating aircraft to read about, one of my favourites.

By modern standards, a game such as this would be seen as simplistic, but sometimes simplicity and fun go hand in hand. I certainly caused a few aches and pains in my hands playing this game.

Also, I accidentally bombed my own aircraft carrier in the game, but as I never, ever completed the game, I have no idea whether the carrier was there at the end of it.

Looking forward to reading comments from anyone who may have played the game.

I Played it on my Speccy, always thought it was a bit tough as well, I never seemed to last too long.
My favourite 'flying' game was Zzoom by Imagine. It was a kind of Defender type game, but from the viewpoint of you being inside the aircraft, and you had to defend people walking across the screen from various planes / submarines, but the funny bit was that you could actually shoot the people you are trying to save as well.
