Question 2 Hidden Images found w/ Game Genie...

In the early 90s I was fooling around with the game genie on quite a few games for the NES. So while I was using it on The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy (I was only able to get the blue version), I'd punch in these codes in these pics and these are the images I got before the game would load up. Has anyone found this out? Here are the pics.

    Weird, huh.

I've never used a game genie, but doesn't the game genie use those two pics anyway?

It's those faces that I'm talking about. With those codes, they pop up on the blue version of the game. It doesn't happen to the red version or any other NES game I've used those codes on.

have been discussed on dizzy.pl forums.
    I'll try to explain.
You don't need Game Genie to start faces.
It's developers way of checking a checksum of PRG and CHR.
Faces have ablsolutly any other purpose.
Thanks to hacking I doscovered how t start them:
To start then without any game genie you have to press all of the button on pad1.Of course sounds like impossible, but nowa_era modified game pad and it works.

Hey, that reminds me of something... Scroll down to the Quattro Adventure section of this article. The strange face looks as if it could be a mixture of those two faces! What do you think?

Oh, OK. Thanks for the reply. I thought it might of been something hidden in the game that could only be accessed by the Game Genie. Oh well.

It does seem pretty bizarre that someone's NES could give both a pass and a fail and output both graphics at the same time...

I was thinking how to explain this to someone who don't know NES specyfications.

These are no graphics...faces are displayed as Attribute table.
That also explains why colors changed-values for attrib table was merged.
