well it's there somewhere, behind something!

As you are now Grandad, 39 stars and that item searching where to use and where to find the last star.

you may have completely different ones to find!

The Metal Detector isn't used to find a star, but it does help

Got it behind the patch of flowers.
Tried putting them on the grave for some extra points but not to be lol..

    Finished

Playing time 3 Hours 0 Mins 3 Seconds

Points 28120 and reloaded 32 times.

Awesome game with many innovative features, lots of things coding wise wouldn't know where to start, linking to 'real time' had me amazed, had to adjust my pc clock a few times though lol, loved the day turning to night (meaning you can't have any black around any brushes used as would show when was day, would be my problem) & all the wildlife bringing the game more to life. Loved all the waterfall areas too with the rockery features & the diving of dizzy getting scored by the fishes, brill !!!

very well done, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Linking to 'real-time' was actually quite easy once alex added a couple of new functions last year (although he did say not to base the game's logic on it... oops! haha). However some of the code that controls stuff is rather long and convoluted (such as the code to work out sunset & sunrise times each day)

just as a quick note to spur you on to playing it again, there are 20 additional 'points only' puzzles, and a few other little things you can do that won't give you points, just maybe a bit of a laugh.

Yes awesome game, I bet the Oliver Twins / Codemasters wouldn't have minded you & Colin in their setup.

Wouldn't of known were that many although I was trying to capture any addtional points of any I could.

Oh and the playing time in reality is much higher than that as I spend time roaming around trying things a little freely, working things out etc, then I plan a route once I know I can solve a few puzzles then I do it carefully (or try to).

    Got to admit defeat now.
Ive activated the save feature and the only unused items i have at the minute are rope - juggling balls - fishing net - jug of water - bee sting.
Cant get past scientist and need money to buy from shop and pub.
Cant do anything with Daisy - Dora - Dozy - Blacksmith - Haunted Man - Ghost - bloke looking for Jack - or any of the graves (except for Victory Wheel).
Up to 27 stars and cant get the 2 under water or 1 in the shop yet.
So can any of you clever people who have got so much further than me point me in the right direction?

you're stuck at the same place, therefore my early hint applies again.

The good news for you is that you're at the right time of day to do it

Your doing well actually if your up to 27 stars, I think your at the same point I got stuck and a few have (think this was the most difficult part in the game). Jamie gave a hint earlier in the thread about checking the 2nd nature trail sign. You need to think 'fruit bats', and at dusk as that is the only time something happens with them in the cave. Hopefully that clue helps
