    Default ASII

In "Dizzy Who: Into the Tardis" it is necessary to change structures about 64 symbols for all 128. How it to make? Files *.fnt changed, hasn't helped. Help please!

I'm sorry, but I really don't understand what you're meaning.

It looks like that person wants to translate the game into Russian, but needs to include the Russian fonts (and maybe keep the Latin characters too). Just guessing, but that's the Russian alphabet in the bottom graphic.

Kirkub, You are right. With new games of problems doesn't arise at font statement, but with this game will consult I can not.

ah yes, I think I see the problem. games made with DizzyAGE versions up to 1.31 only had the small font tile, so if you want to draw more characters you just can't.

The best way to do it is probably to convert the game to DizzyAGE v2.4, but if you're not the creator of the game, it won't be that easy (it's not too easy even if you ARE the creator of the game!)

Alex might know of a way, but I suspect that there won't be, and that he'll recommend that games are kept updated to the latest versions anyway.

Yes, it's best to have the game updated to the latest engine version. There is dedicated support for multi-language. Not sure how successful it is, since it wasn't much used, but theoretically you can have a game in more than one language, selectable from menus - of course the game should've been set for this, like having all texts in a file, etc.

    See the Localization Demo:

For older versions, I don't remember right now how to hack them for more characters. But I don't think it worth it since one day the game may be upgraded to latest engine anyway.

I keep pushing with these latest engine upgrades because I plan to port the engine to other platforms like phones or so, and of course only the latest version will be ported. However I don't have a date set for this, but when it happens all upgraded games should work. Sorry for repeating this all the time

TOS we too translate, but it very big, translation goes very slowly. It would be very grateful to you if you remember as it to make, the engine very old and to update very difficultly.
