My new game (PROGRESS THREAD)

Inspired by Grandad's games featuring Daisy, I've started work on a new game where you'll play Daisy. The story is roughly that Daisy and Dizzy have split up, and so Daisy has gone off to explore the world without him.

The game is called Daisy Does Dallas.

Along the way she'll meet characters such as Sailor Flop, a down-on-his-luck merchantman; Miss Flora Spoil, a friendly hotel owner; and Mr Avina Laaf, the local Businessman.

There will be a few new 'actions' in this game, to reflect the title. An example of the kind of puzzle in the game is trying to find some protection, and instead of normal collectibles, in Daisy Does Dallas you'll 'collect' notches on a bedpost. I may get time later to post a screenshot, and needless to say, the game will be 18+ only.

As i've said before, i don't have much time to work on games, so expect the game to take me about a year to make, which will see it released on 1st April 2011, in time for next years comp.

I think Mr Avina Laff would be a good name for a character though.

Hm, I felt for this one.

At least I didn't fell for the one at the office: one of the artists made a leaflet like from a cheap and delicious catering service and people started to place orders... It didn't smell well to me

Have you ever played Leisure Suit Larry? Leisure Suit Dizzy is another idea that's brimming over with possibilities...

yes, many many moons ago on the Amiga. You had to answer general knowledge questions to prove you were over 18! Trouble was, they were about 5 or 6 years out of date! haha

Shame this wont be made - cos if your going down the route of pay to play - this is a game I'm sure would earn you some readies....
