Dizzyage V1.31 games not working in win7

So in conclusion, run the v1.3 games with the v1.2 engine, until authors (or volunteers ) will upgrade them.

pfft! I had enough hassle upgrading my first 3 games to DizzyAGE v2. I'm not about to start on someone else's!

Here is a related issue!

I'm trying Dizzy Age 1.3 games on my new Vaio laptop, and it seems to toggle back to the desktop as soon as I enable fullscreen mode, after showing very briefly. It doesn't quit the game, it just bounces back to the desktop. It allows me to switch to windowed mode f I tap F10 quickly upon switching back, but it doesn't allow fullscreen at all. I've tried changing the config settings, but the same thing happens. Work fine in windowed mode though.

My laptop is running at 1600 x 900, but generally accepts 1024 x 768 and 640 x 480 without any problems for full screen content. I've also tried setting 1600x900 in Dizzy Age settings, but the same thing happens.

....but the 1.2 trick seems to work, so I'll use that for Fantasy World Dizzy. Thanks for the info.

edit: Oh... I'm also having problems running with my Nvidia 330m laptop GPU. If I switch to the Intel GMA 950 it works, but I get a blank black screen if I use the nvidia gpu.

edit: oh weird, it's working with the other GPU now, but the 1.2 trick isn't working on either GPU. That's okay, I'll stick with windowed mode.

Hopefully this gpu problem doesn't happen with games using DizzyAGE v2.0 or higher. Right?
