RandomGirl, if I remember correctly you need to use the crate under the ivy at the bottom of the hill on Hill Island to climb up to the 'secret cave' - then you'll get the item for the yeti with the sore head.

Hello once more. Stuck again with the second trial! (at least I think it's the second - the death is an illusion trial). I assume I need to light the candle but don't seem to have anything I could use for this. Perhaps I need to complete some other puzzle first?
I have: mirror, plunger, empty bucket, yellow ball, pickaxe, axe, wire cutters, conker, megaphone, screwdriver and gold ring.

Well I've been through the whole thread and I don't think anyone reported being stuck at this exact point. I've solved the trials, been in the locked shed and locked chest, distracted the guard and obtained panpipes and the balloon. I still have no "spiritual consideration" to give, still have to figure out what's happening with the goat, need access to the admin shed and to put it indelicately, I need more balls.
Any clues? If nothing else, I'd appreciate a clue on which items/puzzles to concentrate on...
RandomGirl ...something 'spiritual' doesn't refer to anything religious. The Cap'n is a seagoing man. Think of a well known phrase that starts 'yo ho ho' ...and then you can sort out the goat ...and see what the bully was hiding.
The Admin shed is not for exploring. It's just there to get rid of the guards when you use the radio.

Well my sad dented pride has put me off asking for help again for a while, but I must now concede defeat....
I've given the rum to the captain, received the machete, liberated the goat and I now have 2 balls. I also have 30 coins, the red balloon, the panpipes, the bridge kit, the mirror, the crowbar, screwdriver and a bunch of other items I've used.
Can anyone please give me a hint on what item/what puzzle I should be focusing on? Also there are some clouds I can't get onto directly above the shed. Is there something I'm missing up there?
