I have got as far as meeting YZZID and his family, but I am stuck as I can only find 9 coins, and need 10 to get further.

none of the coins are hiding behind anything, only one you get from completing a puzzle. none of them are hard to find but the one i kept forgetting about was the coin around the yolkfolk tree house.
I'm stuck (which is nothin new for me) I have 9 coins, extra strong hair grip, spade, bean and milk bottle. Any help very greatful :v2_dizzy_happy:

Annie, You are more or less when I am. Regarding the bean - try looking for a clear patch in the grass to plant it.

What else did Daisy tell you to do?
Have you explored the caves? the ones next to Daisy.
If you click on the sparkle in the caves (like the one in the well) it will give you a clue.
I've given Daisy Pogie, gotta do Danny next, read the sparkle but can't find what it is on about:D
a faint Eco can be heard from BELOW
sounds like some ones trapped in these caves
Have you tried searching around in the chamber below that room??

I didn't want to make it easy buy having a different shade on the ground so i added the sparkle to give a hint but not necessary give it away.. sounds like it worked! Cool.

Annie.. you'll know when you need it, you will see the clues... forget about it for now.
Dizzyfan. the switch is in the Emerald castle... make sure to search every room.. you can't miss it.
Sounds like you walked through the rest without and problems.. one you've finished it give me some feedback.. i kinda felt myself it was to easy.?

Ive completed this game now - and ive thoroughly enjoyed it.
I love the use of colours which correspond to different sections of the game, the puzzles were challenging enough for me and the changes of landscape kept the game interesting.
Minor annoyances for me was the difficulty of getting past some beasties unhurt & not always being clear where boundaries were that could not be crossed (ie end of map) eg. tree to far right of well - maybe a brick wall would make it obvious - as I spent ages trying to climb/jump onto/over it to see what was on other side.
Overall - I think Emerald Dizzy is 10x bigger & better than scrambled egg. For only a scond attempt, I think other more seasoned DizzyAge developers should be looking over their shoulder as your catching up fast. I can only wonder how well this game would have done in the Easter Comp if it was released only a few weeks earlier - top 3 perhaps??
I am looking forward to your next project with relish.
What a monster year 2008 has already been for dizzy fans - if the quality and volume of Dizzy games can only increase, we're all in for happy days ahead. I only wish I was 10 years old again and had all these Dizzy games to choose from. I wouldnt have left the house.

because its more of a game than SE theses things show up... didn't get to fully expand eggs as much as i liked but it was a start. Emerald is the first step.. lol
One bit i was quite pleased with was the dungeon.. you know the bit.... :D

well i'm completely flumoxed even with the clues on here - only got bottle of milk can't find anything else!!! not even something to wake dozy did get in the cloud cave where there was a second coin though, will keep checking the threat for clues

Room names ain't for show.. they are clues and tell the story.
should be able to work that one out..after all theres only a handful of rooms to have access too.

you gotta help out one of the villager.. he told your what you needed and where to find it.. so i would just keep looking around the castle.. you have the crowbar so thats a start.

Eggcellent game, Meph! managed to finish it yesterday.
just wondered if this is a bug. To the left of the troll, there is mushroom you can bounce on. Are you supposed to be able to bounce on the plant next to it?
i wouldn't have thought so.. lol its on the list.
I haven't had a chance to fix theses for the spiders yet... maybe in a few weeks.. im working 7 days for a while and just to tired in the evenings..
I'm stuck again I have: Crow Bar, Bee Hive, Prison Key, Feather and Milk Bottle. I've tried the Prison Key on the "Torture" room but it doesn't work. Any clues would be great full :v2_dizzy_happy:
you know its a pain that key wasn't meant to be found so easy.. LOL
anyway.. you need something else to get that gate open... at least you have that crowbar, might come in handy, also wasn't there a village needing your assistance?

Got the prison key. Nice way of getting it, nice touch!
Just one question: Do you use the key in the castle? I have tried around ang cannot use it yet.

Key is used later on.. someone will tell you to find it.. thats why it was a pain you all found it so soon.. seems like the puzzle before is more difficult..

Yep met the guy in the tree who needs to be cut down. The only thing I haven't used in the castle is the milk bottle.

Started playing recently and now im going barmy trying to find the last coin
to get into the castle, ive traversed every which way over all the screens
many times now and cant find it :dizzy_frown:
(ive got the one after freeing Danny in the cave).

Denzil isn't stuck in the tree...lol he was in the ice.
Getting the correct spot wasn't the best solution i know.. something I'll change for new games.. i know what that feels like..

Im not sure how extensively your classing the yolkfolk village but the only one I can find there is the one in 'coin in the clouds screen, actually on a cloud..ive been searching all the screens to no avail...:v2_dizzy_down:
Have you tried the second cloud at the top of the Village near the castle.

Hee hee yes, I never knew that was there, never managed to drop on that particular cloud to jump back right across into the 'cloud island'.

have you tried picking the Emerald up?
you might need to push the button, its in the castle.

No, don't know where the button is, no I didn't get hit by the CageI always jump if there is a cage above cause you never know what is gonna happen, only realised when I read it on here.

Oh no disaster, I was just checking where I made my saves if was at the point you was as I could of emailed to you to let you try finish from there but unfortunately ive made them right near the end. Maybe someone else could so you dont have to restart over.
Is there anyone with a saved game not right at the very end but at some point when you entered the castle to send to Annie ?

what a marathon - after the last clue from meph re the crowbar i've been off line for the last 3 WEEKS so was running around with the crowbar like a blue a***d fly - finally back on line today and the first thing i did was get stuck in to emerald city and finally FINISHED - loved it meph - off to try jamies tlod

How do you get back out of the room of the floating coin? The jump is too high and the fire blocks the passage?
you'll just have to have jump around the rooms you can access.

Where do I find the spade? I cant find it anywhere. :v2_dizzy_confused2:
One of the towns folk in the Emerald city will give you the spade, at some point.
I'm guessing that would be Dylan, but if that's the case, I am unable to get the ruby. How do I get it? I have the extra strong hair clip, milk bottle, and bee hive. I have tried these items in numerous places (including by the ruby) but am unable to find a use for any of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah that ruby is a bit to high.. got anything you can stand on?

Can anyone help me, I'm totally stuck on this game?! :dizzy_confused:
I've freed Denzil (the one in the ice) - he gave me something I think (I forget what it was) and said he couldn't help with the well. Woke up Dozy and took what he gave me. I've met the one in the weird grey bit (Daisy or Dora - I can't remember). And I've spoken to Grand Dizzy. I think that's all.
I have the green eye, the sleepy book, the ruby, the treasure chest and the milk bottle. I think that's all.
I've absolutely no idea what to do next - I've searched everywhere and can't find anything that will help me!
Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Denzil says the vampire should have something that will help you access it..you need t search her hut.
once you've done that more of the game will open up.

Really good game - nice length, logical puzzles and not too much backwards-and-forwards-with-objects! Really liked all the different 'bits' to it.
I'm slowly working my way through the fan games, starting with the 'small' and 'medium' ones - despite being an avid Dizzy fan as a kid, I never completed any of the games, so it's nice to be able to complete something!!

it was one of my firsts attempts, Just getting basics learned.
I quite liked some of the ideas. (the house and in the dungeons)
I've just completed the game for the first time, after spending the last few days tackling it in earnest (rather late in coming to it, I know, but better late than never). Great game - I really enjoyed it. :v2_dizzy_clapping:

I tried this game a while ago and didn't get very far (stumped by the green eye and vampire heart for ages :v2_dizzy_blush:) but started again now and doing much better :v2_dizzy_smile: now at the point where I need to use the crowbar and I am not finding the "right spot" can anyone help please?????!!!!!
I believe it was just on one of the crates in the castle..

I'm still not getting anywhere with the crowbar, think I have tried actioning (almost) every position at every barrel, crate and otherwise in the castle, can anyone tell me at least which room I need to be in please???
can't remember the name of the room but it's the one with all the crates in (7 i think) you need to stand in front of the first crate (not on it)

Weird, I must have walked round the castle loads of times and forgot about that room, as soon as you said 7 I knew I hadn't been in the right place - anyway I have now reached prison but am I the only person who hasn't found the prison key before getting to the prison??!! And you said that the prison key puzzle wasn't supposed to be easy Meph - well it's not easy to me!!! Any hints would be gratefully received...

Using the chest on the left screen leading in the wall. But Dizzy can safely walk back. It's a wallwalky miracle.

Why of the right side of the screen is invisible wall? Dizzy don't smash his head on the hill, he stay on it, if he came from the right screen.
Two eggs died...:v2_dizzy_cry: But game is nice. First i thought that game related to the land of Oz, but even it's not, she is good anyway.
It's an old game and a bit crappy.. it was made not long after my first experiment with Dizzyage.
Dylan and Nalyd are two different characters, i used different versions of characters then create new ones... they looked different enough to be different people.
Maybe one day I'll go back to this and clean it all up, this was probably worse then Scrambled egg (a game i will re-vist and clean up)
