Hi there.
Now forgive me for being a total donut here but I just cannot seem to get the Dry Ice to work! On the screen after the bolt cutters, where on earth do you need to stand to use the darn thing!?
Rob
Are you trying to use it on the underground waterfall? and which version of the game are you playing?

I use the bolt cutters on the chain to set the icy platform moving from left to right. I then move into the screen to the left where there is a lake. Is this the right place? I tried using it on the platform with the waterfall (where you jump in the caves with the trowel). Still didn't work.
Boo hoo
I am playing the new 2008 version in DizzyAge

Drop the dry ice where Dizzy is standing and you should be able to go through the waterfall.
This version of the game expects you to finish the game the correct way, hope this helps :)

i am playing dizzy 1 although i dont know what version. when i look at the cheats/maps etc i realise its the version without dagger.
anywhooooo
silly as i am i used the dry ice on the bit in the cave wheer all i had to do was use the bolt cutters... teherfore theres no dry ice to use on the next bit of water!!!!
any ideas anyone? maybe i should just start again
No Dagger?! There's always been a dagger on this game, using the Emerald followed by the Pickaxe.
If you drop the dry ice on the water where the Dagger should be used is easier. But on the DizzyAGE and Commodore version, you're supposed to use the Dagger found under the Graveyard.
