after the shots from tuca by apep i had a wander round dizzyage games trying to get stuck, bit of fun, found this in dreamworld. not quite sure how i did it but the poor egg just cant get out of this ..
hmmm i think you've managed to do it by jumping onto the slope on the barrel. ah well.

Could be fixed by the author of the game, with an invizible vertical block brush.
I have some similar situations in TOS.
This happends on some slopes that goes up to the ceiling (all block materials).
I've found a few similar situations with Forgotten Realm......I load up to test if my coding works and get stuck somewhere...got quite a few invisible blockers added on the map. But there's bound to be some I've missed.

yeah, when i eventually get around to porting it to DizzyAGE v2.1, i'll add that in. all my new games have blockers where it could be a problem, but before WWD i'd never really considered it, so i don't think any of my earlier games have blockers.

it was just a bit of fun when i was bored one night but now i've learnt something new. didn't know about invisible blockers. have to read the books again..doh
I refer to the dizzyage manual all the time.
Sometimes even with things I think I know how to do.....only to later realise that I don't*cough*
Like when I make a 2 part elevator and both parts somehow end up going up and down independantly of each other.....I'm like "er.......ok,....where's the manual"
And don't feel bad about not knowing about invisible blockers. I managed to overlook colliders several times when going through the books.

Probably, "invisible blockers" sounds a bit fancy...
They are just static brushes that only write in the material map.
That's why I called them "invisible".
They have block material, so they are "blockers"
You can use one of these to avoid map problems like the barrel thing mentioned above,
or other shape that could allow dizzy to climb on it, when you don't want that.
Dizzy can stay even on one pixel of blocking material, so if you have a bumpy wall,
you may want to place a smooth invisible blocker, to avoid unwanted jumps on/climbing.
I use the white plain tile, give a transparent red color, as a convention,
and place them on the last layer, so I can hide them easy when I need to take
shots of the map or so.
