For some reason my joypad doesn't work on the 2 new games but it did on earlier games.. i just tried diamond mine dizzy and it works fine

It doesn't work at all, or it's just the rumble?
Can you try to place it in another port?
What gamepad is it?
Also send me the log file.

Delay that.... I found m own gamepad doesn't work.... I'M FIXING IT NOW...
