View Full Version : was it just us?
We had the game on the Megadrive, and i don't think we ever finished it,, the bloody game used to crash going up the tower right at the end (think it was a tower! its years since we played it)
We still have the game and the MD but the joypad is broken :(
I have the Megadrive cartridge version and I haven't had any crashes and I completed it.
Did your Sega have a dodgey wire?
the wife could play the Sonics back to back and it never crashed, just Dizzy! it would get more or less to the same point and hang.. Does Zak throw stuff down at you??
I'll just have to wait until one of you guys re-make it lol
Yup, he did throw stuff, orange bowling balls for some reason lol.
Even though people have a find game ROMs themselves, you could always play Fantastic Dizzy on a Megadrive Emulator on PC where you get these handy save states. :)
I don't think a remake is close to being looked at

Same here, never had any problems with my version.
Although I'm surprised my joypad always survived me playing Fantastic Dizzy because you could guarantee that it would be airborne after I saw that infernal sunset after a long play session.

I have the megadrive version and my crashed a lot. Solution = Avoid hitting the console, it's a very fragile cartridge (at least here in Sweden)
it never crashed for me... The only games that crashed were those silly shaped Electronic arts games with the tall cases. So easy to wobble.
But if the game consistently crashed at the same point, it sounds to me like a bad copy of the game.
You'll never find an error with the actual console that would only affect one copy of one game.

No problems with MD Fantastic Dizzy here either.
