UPDATE: All items are now listed on eBay - see http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZjda2012QQhtZ-1.

Hi all,

As a long-term Dizzy fan I've amassed most of the games over the years, but now I could do with getting rid of a few excess copies.

At the moment I have 2 copies of Fantastic Dizzy available (plus one Cartoon Collection featuring the original Dizzy), all of the following come complete with the original boxes and manuals (and the game media of course!). Photos of all of them are linked to below. P&P will need to be added on but I'll only be charging the amount it costs me, and I think the prices are very reasonable anyway.

I'm getting rid of them as the MD version is enough for me - I don't really need all these copies of basically the same game.

Platform - Item - Additional Info - Media - Box - Manual - Price
Commodore 64 - Cartoon Collection (CJ's Elephant Antics, Dizzy, Seymour Goes to Hollywood, Slightly Magic, Spikey in Transylvania) (http://img532.imageshack.us/img532/6249/cartooncollectioncjsele.jpg) - complete, and is the big box version - 9 - 6 - 7 - ?2.26
Nintendo Entertainment System - The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy Plug-through cartridge with map (http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/4644/thefantasticadventureso.jpg) - 100% complete, with the very rare map - 8 - 8 - 7 - ?14.07
Sega Game Gear - Fantastic Dizzy (http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/6615/fantasticdizzy.jpg) - very rare complete, as it is here - 7 - 6 - 7 - ?3.72

Anybody interested please post here!

Thanks

James

Unfortunately I already have all of those, but for those of you out there that love the genesis version I heartily recommend playing the NES plug-thru one through to completion. I'm positive after completing the genesis one there's even more content in the NES one.... I don't remember finding the 'down the rapids' section in the genesis version at all... Hmm....

I only played the Sega version once, but from what I remember it looked and played identically to the Amiga version. In the Amiga version, the Down the Rapids section wasn't included; you could collect the barrel just by going to the right hand end of Bridge Street and picking it up, instead of having to play the rapids game first. I assume that this was one of the small differences between the versions of the game called "Fantastic Dizzy" and those called "The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy".

Well you were right about the barrel part but the difference between the names were that the game was called Fantastic Dizzy Europe and Australia but the game was called The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy in the U.S

Not really m8

The Amiga, Sega Megadrive and Master System versions are called Fantastic Dizzy and the NES version is called the Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy.

And as for the games you're selling, well I already own the Megadrive version, including the cartridge that comes with Cosmic Spacehead.

They're still available, and I'm now selling my older Dizzy games as well since I want to "upgrade" to the Amiga versions. I have a "Dizzy Collection" for C64 available, as well as perhaps a "Dizzy's Excellent Adventures" and a "Cartoon Collection"

Quick bump - I've updated the original post and prices are much reduced, quite keen to shift these now :v2_dizzy_thumbsup:

Edit: And again, very cheap now!

How much would the Game Gear one be altogether with shipping?

EDIT: I'm aware that a new member asking to buy something probably seems pretty suss; however, hopefully my eBay feedback (http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=katzii_yataki&ftab=AllFeedback) can be of assurance.

Aw, darn - sorry I missed your post (I'd kept checking back, and then got pretty busy in recent weeks). Hope you managed to sell it, but I will perhaps look through your eBay to see if there's anything else I might like!
