ok, so taking advantage of my ability to create a poll, i'm asking what your favourite DizzyAGE game is. obv with there being 15 of them, i've had to cut out some of the little ones.

as it's a poll, reasons why you've picked a game would also be appreciated, so that dizzyAGE game creaters can see what makes a good game, and hopefully even better games will result from it!

i'm also really really dredging the barrel now, looking for any kind of inspiration for my next game. :p

EDIT: GAHHHH sorry to the people who created the games i had to miss out! damn not having more than 10 options. :(

ANOTHER EDIT: i've just realised this could seem a little bit... like i'm looking for praise. i'm more interested in what people consider makes a good game.

Well I am actually being honest here......I'm gonna show what I chose this way. My top 5

5 - Excalibur Dizzy
4 - Lost Island Dizzy
3 - Dizzy & the Emerald Eye
2 - Dizzy & The Other Side
1 - Dreamworld Dizzy

I went for Dreamworld Dizzy.... Very simple choice really, like all of the other games on the list it's very well designed and playable, sticking closely to the roots of what Dizzy is all about.
It's also, for a Dizzy game, rather huge if my feeble attempts to solve it are anything to go by. I like longevity in a title, so that's another reason I chose it. Finally, it attempts to be original without sacrificing what makes Dizzy Dizzy. I particularly like collecting the Z's :v2_dizzy_happy:

Incidentally, I'm not sure how I feel about the inclusion of the remakes... They are classics in their own right, after all. My favourite Dizzy game is Magicland Dizzy, which is on the list as a remake, but I was voting in terms of original fan-games.

I would consider Treaure Island to be the most faithful remake, pretty much indistinguishable from the 'real thing'. I love the fact you've taken the time to redo them actually, as it means we can play the classics simply by clicking a desktop icon, no messing with (sometimes imperfectly refreshing) emulators....

Well done :D

It is a verry hard game, and a very massive game that makes it even harder still but I love the originality and the fact it's a good size to get my teeth into :)

well i got a bit further, due to luck, but I've started to work out most of my way round the tree house... i put dozy to sleep, helped out the hippy.. (a brain? disgusting) and killed the evil egg and picked up a few things in the castle.. can't seem to jump into the mirror, and some objects seem to disappear (umbrella/ cage) when i reach those screens so now im stuck again... oh and i found the giant egg.

Meph, I'm not sure if you already know this, but if you're stuck or have anymore comments on Dreamworld, could you use this thread.
