View Full Version : Mephisto (my little films)
:v2_dizzy_walkman:
thought id shamelessly plug my little animation series... 'Mephisto'
nothing special.. all rather crap, but then i don't really know what im doing but i thought they might make people smile...
Has all six episodes plus the feature length short which I've been working on all this back end of the summer. . only officials released it, plus a few of my other small tests and experiments.. i keep them up there so people can see the progress and how things have really improved... take a look if you have the chance... its worth it :v2_dizzy_tongue2:
you can find them on the smalls page or myspace.

"the ed wood of animation"
I've just watched most of these clips, It's really impressive m8 :)
:D cheers,
still tones of improvements need to be made but they have been getting better which is the main thing, other then the odd finger getting in a frame, or the set falling over.. they ain't to bad.. just been trying to smooth the animation (more frames per second) and recently trying to build more of a set.
only a bit of fun..

Haha, I think they're pretty cool to be honest. It will be interesting to see where this goes...
:v2_dizzy_clapping:
where it goes ...Hollywood.. give Harryhausen and Tim Burton as run for there money... :egg: lol
don't think i can keep doing 3 min episodes but i now gotta move forward from doing the 90 second ones, im having a break i might be doing a music video sometime, just finding the time.
i thought about trying to do something with dizzy..or try and put him in an episode but i don't think i could pull it off. probably get sued at the same time..
mind you the second episode i made i didn't notice until afterwords is pretty much a rip off of Trapdoor lol no surprise being a fan..
Anyway glad your enjoying them, make you smile anyway if nothing else, :dizzy_cool:

'Trapdoor' was the fist thing I thought of :D
Hey, that made it to terrestrial TV and they were only five minutes a-piece. I agree btw - what a great series. Especially Berk's (spelling?) funny voice :v2_dizzy_happy:

Awesome... I've book marked that one straight away :D
:v2_dizzy_cheers: matey!
I've just uploaded episode 7.
titled Spellbound after the Dizzy game, it has nothing to do with dizzy..
Its fantastic, well i think so.
During the summer i was asked to directed and animate a music video.. this was on a bases that he had only seen my first tests and Mephisto series. which were worse then what they are now... so what he was thinking i don't know...
anyway.. the project finally came to light.. i spent 3 weeks putting this together.. its not great but for some weird reasons they seem to really like it.. and i thought i was the only one with a distorted view on reality...
anyway.. claymation/stop-motion animated music video..
apparently it was just what he had visualised.. ... Ummmmm
