View Full Version : Good Ol' Arcade!
Remember when our forum had an Arcade attatched to it? We should do that again haha:v2_dizzy_cheers:
I think that'll help to ease the boredom I'm going through at the moment. I haven't had much to do these days lol. :v2_dizzy_confused2:
The lot over at Retro Remakes had quite a big collection of online arcade games on their forum.

Why not go for walks or meet up with people instead of playing pointless flash games? :v2_dizzy_confused2::v2_dizzy_tongue2:
Really though, i dont think forums are places for arcades, thats my opinion though, although i did prefer phpbb to phpbulliten :(
good times eh!
Well you're right on the fact that I should have more fresh air
But It's hard to enjoy it from all this rain we had! :v2_dizzy_mad:

What about the Last Ninja series on C64? Awesome games... Oh yeah... And Target Renegade was good too, but why the hell no 2p game like the Speccy!? It's not as if the C64 was an inferior machine...
Other faves of mine from the Dizzy era are Ghouls n ghosts (of course. Like the first one, too :D) and Turrican II. Oh, yes. Obviously the AMiga version was superior in manyw ays, but the C64 handled the speed and graphics very well I thought... I really enjoyed the Commodore disc scene too, with all the RPG's flying around. The AD&D games were great, as were the Elvira role-playing games (not that silly platformy thing). And Dragonwars... And the strategy RPG, Battletech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception. I remember being devastated when my training compund was destroyed as part of the plot... The first time I'd felt emotinally involved in a game, that was! The second time was with Final Fantasy VII.
