you can play the pc versions of dizzy in xp. I even play them in vista(dizzyage games work fine in vista too)
you need Dosbox. it's a DOS emulator. I've just been playing fantastic dizzy with it!

you can get it here
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1
make sure the game folders are named with 8 letters or less.
run dos box
you need to mount the drive that the games in. this done by using old dos commands.
example
if fantastic dizzy is in this directory - d:\dizzy\fantdizz - type
mount c d:\dizzy\fantdizz
this will mount the folder as the c:\ drive
it's currently looking at z:\ so enter c:\ to change it
now type pcdizzy to run the game

if it's running too slow, hold ctrl and tap F12 to increase speed
ctrl + F11 to decrease
emulates soundblaster audio

Indeed Dosbox is a wonderful little emulator. Only problem i have found is that most people cannot get their heads around how to set it up and mount the correct drives and devices. But however you have a nice little guide there for anyone who wants to give it a go, anymore troubles and i can help also.

Cool, tried it out and works great. Any way of resizing the window though? I was playing Fantasy World Dizzy and the screen was kinda small.

ALT + Enter will make it full screen

I think DOS games look nasty full screen. Best to stick with windowed mode in my view.

I prefer playing in wondowed mode too, but I can't work out how to make the window bigger.

if you edit dosbox.conf

scroll down to the [render] section
change the
scaler=normal2x to normal3x and then save it

the window should resize when you start the game

Don't think you can.

I enjoyed these dos versions of the games, form what i remember they had some differnet puzzles and the map layout was differnet.
