Story:
The Evil Wizard Zaks has been punished, and his magic amulet hid all his Magic stars across the land and to top it all off, the village has been surrounded by a force field.

Nobody fears Zaks any longer, in fact He's been making the effort to change his ways and become friends.

But Dizzy suspects Zaks is still up to no good. While the other yolkfolk are eager to visit the local fun fair, Dizzy decided to uncover Zaks evil plan of revenge.

Zaks has built a horrid monster that he will send to destroy the yolkfolk.

But first he must find a brain, and then find away to bring it to life.

Yep, theres a couple of places were you'll get stuck, You're not meant to escape a dungeon that easy.

Yeah finished. Good fun Meph. I couldn't get the star from the top of the minecart shed as either Zaks or the bat as the edge blocks you. Didn't find a way to get to that area above Theo either. I assume you deliberately left the spook credits open to have another ride rather than exit the game.

I'm illiterate.. i know people like me should be banished into the abyss, or locked in a room and never seen or heard, and maybe we should be, but we're not.

How about letting me know theres a problem so i can go fix it? Better than posting smarmy comments.
What irritates me is nobody had the decency to message me about it, A little note just to tell me it's rubbish and needs more attention, if nobody says anything that I'm going to assume theres nothing wrong.

Meph, I'm not having a go at you here - honestly I'm not - but if I were to tell you about spelling/grammar mistakes, I would need to go through almost every single line of message dialogue and change it for you.

I don't really have the time to do that, so I leave it. I've kinda got used to it anyway.

EDIT:: Plus I can't anyway because you've password-protected the pak file :v2_dizzy_mad: why not send it to someone beforehand and ask them to correct spelling/grammar?

ok, as an example, here's a few messages at the start of the game, along with the corrected versions:

Dizzy I thought you were taking the gang to the fun fair

etc etc. There's too many for someone to play the game and note them all down.

Finished,nice game that especially liked the music and the fact that you put a different spin on the game,thanks for the help, got dizzy blindness in the middle and couldn't progress at all but got there in the end,good luck for the competion :)

don't worry mate, my vocab can be a little on the conspicuous side.....I like errors, shows we all humans rather than them damn hobits's!!!! Luv'd the game mate and looking 4ward to the next:-)

Nobody's asking you to correct it, you shouldn't have to. The point is if nobody brings it up then as far as i awear it must be ok. If it's that bad you should refuse to play until it's corrected, clearly we're not talking about the odd typo, (i'm stupid but not that stupid) id rather people tell me it's shit than to moan about it later.

I have a feeling i didn't double check.
And i shall see if i get time today and send off a new version, it's not a problem.

Hey Meph, as Jamie says, it's no big deal. Most fangames have spelling and grammatical errors, but as long as you get the gist of what's being said then there's no real problem. Dave(FrogandHat) and I have a little history, which is why he had a guest appearance in Daisy's search as the pedantic frog and the comment was for him, not a jibe at you. But aplogies if you thought I was having a go.

From the screenshots, looks good, I always enjoy Mephs original creations.

On the topic of spelling/grammar - it's odd that on forum posts, Meph's spelling/grammar is usually as good as anyones.

To be fair to Meph, this game was released just before the deadline. So there just wasnt time for full testing.
No doubt helpful yolkfolk users will message Meph in due course with constructive suggestions/corrections.

Phil, if you want to send a copy of the script over, I'll be happy to help proof read.

loving playing this with little Zaks, turning into a bat lol - well stuck now with a good few items that don't want to go anywhere/to anyone but gonna play longer before asking for help, seen where i need to go in the clouds but can't find the item!

As for spelling/grammar: as long as i know what is meant then i don't feel the need to point it out, if i didn't get it then i would send a PM.

Well it's a big deal for me, i hate it as much as anyone, probably more.

Dizzy games need to be at least a reasonable standard.
