Well, I've finally left Daisy in the kitchen doing the washing up and sent Dizzy back to Magicland. Some of the old characters are still around but there are a few new faces as some twenty odd years have passed since he was last there. I've also been animating most of the characters so that they blink their eyes when just standing around and also open and close their mouths when talking. Apart from when he is just picking something up, I've also made Dizzy turn and face any person or object he needs to talk about and if he's facing sideways then his mouth moves when he's talking. I'm also using the original music from the Amiga/PC versions.
However, the game itself is in my usual 'Daisy' style, as I can't resist just adding those odd comments and padding out the conversations plus adding lots of references to the original game. I just have to do a couple more run throughs just to pick up any stray bugs and then it should be ready for release, but I won't send it to AdzM and Alex until after this year's competition voting ends (and I will come last again).
There's no point in including any screenshots as the graphics are faithful to the original Amiga/PC graphics.
