To start sorry I have not been on here or released my game yet. (very busy times at work and at home)

Im wanting a complete change of job (manager of a security company is not fun) and I.T has always interested me. I have been looking up ways to get into the industry and A+ seemed to be the way. Untill I saw many people say its not worth the paper its printed on.

Can any of you help me if you know if its worth paying ?600 for the course and what are my chances of getting a half decent job with it?

?600 doesn't sound a to bad.
But if it's something you know little about and at the end of the course it will then be something you do know about, then it must be worth it right?

I.T doesn't sound fun at all.. lol

I always think the only person who knows if it's worth it is yourself. you must know how much you'll gain from the experience and the lesions. While it will open doors it's real life experience thats the most important.. but must be a positive place to start.

I have no idea what A+ is.

Its the foundation level for PC repairs and maintenance.
Its a cert to say you can fix and repair PCs.

just wondering if its worth it.
thanks anyway

Can you fix and repair PCs. ?
If you can then it's not worth it.

Yeah if you want to get a job in IT, it could be good to take that course, but if you already have prior knowledge and know what you're doing that can be enough to get a job. I know quite a few people who have unrelated degrees/diplomas ie history or marketing, journalism, who got jobs just by having good computer skills. So, maybe you don't need the course, cos thats a lot of cash my friend.
