Dizzy on the DS

I don't know if you guys know, but there's a couple of emulators out there that work pretty well on the DS - CrocoDS (an Amstrad emulator) being one of them. I've been running all sorts of brilliant games that I played as a kid on my DS - Dizzy being one of them. I've got some videos posted on my blog here (http://thebawp.wordpress.com/) if you want to have a further look.

I think the DS would be the perfect platform for Codemasters to release a Dizzy compilation on. With spruced up sound and graphics (just cleaned up rather than redone) I'd certainly buy it.

I've seen the youtube video showing the Amstrad Dizzy games, the sound quality isa bit bad but still, :v2_dizzy_clapping:

What would you do with the lower screen? Depending on the game, I'd use it as an inventory that was always viewable, and you could drop/use items from it with the stylus (although you would probably be able to use the buttons as well). You could also use it for the in game dialogues.

I'm pretty sure there's no compatibility issues between DS and DS lite, in terms of official software. From an amateur development point of view there are a few early bits of unofficial hardware made for the DS that don't work properly with DS Lite.

No, actually.
I've been on the DS scene for quite a while. The only compatibility difference is slightly updated wifi hardware. Not much otherwise:v2_dizzy_happy:
