Welcome to the Community Spills :)

Thanks for the comments on the site, we're hoping to have more exciting stuff added to the site in the future, what with 2 special anniversaries coming up later on in the year.

Today's Dizzy fangames are made using a special engine called DizzyAGE, you can download the engine, along with various DizzyAGE games and remakes here (http://www.yolkfolk.com/dizzyage).

Hopefully the sources on the site will be enough to help you, and feel free to post in this section of the Forum (http://www.yolkfolk.com/bb/forumdisplay.php?f=26) if you need help with the DizzyAGE engine.

Hope this helps :v2_dizzy_cheers:

Hi and welcome, good luck with the game making,

Jamie has made an excellent tutorial (http://dizzystories.110mb.com/makeyourown.php) you could have a go at,
Also the documentation on the DizzyAGE website is excellent

Welcome to the community Paul! :v2_dizzy_clapping:

As Alex says, I have made a 'tutorial game' you can have a go at. I've also previously made a few videos (which are also on my website) which may help you to understand the basics of DizzyAGE, and you can always read the documentation books that come with the engine. :)

the only other thing I will say is that replacing words with numbers makes it rather hard to read your posts!

Thanks to everyone whos helped and pushed me in the right direction towards making my own Dizzy game.I reckon there should be more than one Dizzy spin off on the indie section on xbox live i.e. Clover.Has anyone played Apple Jack on the Indie games? Its only 80 microsoft points {about 65p!}its a briliant platform puzzler with a bit of Mario2,its a perfect eggample of what great games someone can make.Id love to hear from everyone what there favourite remakes of thye Dizzy games are and any hints and tips to do with Dizzy,no matter how small or big. Thanks alot Spills
