Theos Grotto Game Release Schedule 2007

Here is the release schedule for Theos Grotto games for 2007. most of the dates are provisional and may change.

25th March 2007 Fantasy World Dizzy Remake

29th April 2007 MagicLand Dizzy Remake
This game will also have 3 and a half included as a intro game

10th June 2007 Spellbound Dizzy Remake (Full Version)
The largest of all the Theo's Grotto remake

4th August 2007 Dizzy - the ultimate cartoon adventure Remake
This will not be as acurate as a remake as previous games due to the room screen needing to be 8px smaller. but in most rooms this won't make any differance.

29th September 2007 Crystal Kingdom Dizzy Remake
As with the Dizzy TUCA the room screen size will be smaller, than the original room sizes. but the game will have the same graphics style as all other speccy dizzy games.

27th October 2007 Mystic Kingdom Dizzy
A Theos Grotto original game, based on a storyline by my partner Mindy

24th November 2007 Dizzy Who: Katmandu
The first full episode of the Dizzy Who series

22nd December 2007Denzil's Christmas Adventure
Santas been kidnapped by zak's, dizzy is in bed with a cold. So its up to denzil to save christmas!

heh, i guess i'll stop working on my Fantasy World Dizzy re-make then....

do you need a spare complete map? :p accurate to the finest detail....

it's a good job i hadn't started programming it yet....

coincidently, it was about the 25th when mine would have been ready....

I'm putting my games on hold for the moment awaiting the release of DizzyAGE V2. This is due to there being some new features the are required for dizzy 1 remake and some that i wish to take advantage of for mystic kingdom :v2_dizzy_wink2:

What special features are needed for Dizzy 1? I thought that was the least flashy of the series.

it may be the least flashy but it has a different game room size (240x144) to all other dizzy games.

DizzyAGE v2 will have the ability to change the room size from the default 240x136.

while i could do a remake using the current version of dizzyage i would have to make the rooms abit smaller, and then it would not be as true to the original as i would like.

I didn't know that the original Dizzy was 240x144 and all the rest were 240x136... I have a Dizzy engine recreation on the C64 that was originally 240x144, but I later changed it to 240x136, thinking I'd gotten it wrong to begin with - I must have taken my original measurement from the 1st game.
