View Full Version : Hello everyone
I've been a big fan of dizzy since the original on the speccy 48k, so I was really pleased when I found this site. I bought a Dizzy complete collection on ebay recently for pc but can't get it to work through the emulators as i'm not very knowledgable about such things. I would love to play all the old classics again, does anyone know whether you can get dizzy games on pc format that are easy to get on and play? Were there any Dizzy games made solely for pc at any point? Anyway i'm just checking in and droning on a bit so will be looking forward to any replies, thanks
Welcome to the community! :v2_dizzy_clapping:
in answer to your question, there are remakes of the spectrum versions of Dizzy TUCA, Treasure Island, Fantasy World, Magicland, and POTYF on the DizzyAGE site here: http://www.yolkfolk.com/dizzyage/ along with many many fangames, most in the original Spectrum style. You can also download the DizzyAGE program to make your own games. :)
I'll also point you here: http://dizzystories.110mb.com/ which is the site I've made for all the games I've made with DizzyAGE, and also home to a few video tutorials on how to use DizzyAGE. :)
Enjoy!
Just out of interest Pogie, which fan games?
I hate to tell you this but Extremly Dizzy is an illegal disk. There was a discussion about it on this thread (http://www.yolkfolk.com/bb/showthread.php?t=723).
Oh and Welcome to the Community woodz. :v2_dizzy_smile:
what was the user ID of the guy who's selling it on ebay?
i bought that on ebay a while ago.. don't regret it either playing the originals were a treat. Plus it was being soled by a charity so a good cause.
However my version didn't have dreamworld or winterworld.. .
