SecurityTool problem

Guys I seriously need your help, this rouge app called SecurityTool has somehow ended up on my laptop and keeps sending me fake warnings and blocked lots of stuff, I tried to download Spyware Doctor but it won't let me install it. What do I do??

google securitytool and see what it comes up with. Others will have had the same problem, and someone somewhere will have been able to get rid of it, and will have said how to.

Bad news Adz but help is on hand, loads of advice on google. Basically download Malwarebytes Anti Malware (MBAM) and Super Anti Spyware (SAS).
Check for updates on both.
Rename the .exe's to something else (doesn't matter what as long as you know what it is).
Run MBAM and get rid of anything it finds, then run SAS and get rid of what it finds.

Thanks guys, but I got that b******ing virus removed.

Spent all morning on a system restore disk, but it kept refusing to read the disk, but something happened and somehow the SecurityTool thing is now gone (thank god!) and things I'd say are pretty much back to normal.

Hopefully It's the last time I'll see that [insert bad word here].
